The legacy of the beer is now carried on by our team, who are always on the lookout for the best brews in the business. This search for the best brews has helped us maintain great relationships with our suppliers and has helped us create an iconic Knebworth pub.
You can expect to see the finest in cask ales and craft beers, from the most chocolatey porter to the fruitiest gose, session pales and classic bitters - we hope to have something for everyone.
Our kitchen serves fresh food where the carefully sourced ingredients really get to shine. Enjoyed in our beer garden in the summer, overlooking acres of British countryside or sheltered by our wood burner in the winter, it is hard to go wrong!

No idea about our deer?
Deer have lived on Knebworth Park long before the Lytton family arrived in 1490, the Hertfordshire county emblem and name itself pays homage to these long cherished and respected neighbours.
In 1700, Knebworth Park was described as “stocked with the best deer in the country”, and following in their tracks, today’s Knebworth Reds still cut a majestic presence in the early morning mist – echoes of the original harts of Hertfordshire!
The majority of the venison available will be from our herd of Red, along with the occasional woodland Fallow and Muntjac, all of which offer a high protein/low fat, iron, zinc and b vitamin rich, premium organic meat – as local as it gets!

The Lytton Arms, a beautiful historic pub set within the Knebworth Estate, can be the ideal location for your private event.
Our conservatory can hold up 30 people for a seated occasion or 50 people for a standing occasion, in addition, with the adjacent terrace an extra 30 people can be seated or 40 people standing. You can leave any worries at the door as our attentive team takes care of the nitty gritty - allowing you to relax and enjoy your day.
